#Vfpodbc drivers#

You can use 32-bit ODBC drivers on 64-bit Windows, but you must set them up in the 32-bit ODBC Administrator. Visual FoxPro cannot use 64-bit ODBC drivers however.

#Vfpodbc driver#

At the time of this writing (December, 2006), Microsofts Vista did not properly support VFPODBC driver, so we recommend TMG/RootsMagic Vista/Win7/Win8 users upgrade to GenSmarts 1.0.9.33 or higher and use the VFPOLEDB driver.

  • Build.Net Asp or Console app as a wrapper FYI - Version 1.0.9.33 or higher works with either the VFPODBC or the VFPOLEDB driver.
  • This requires us to refactor the code to remove all GUI related and compile it into dll.
